The Way to Happiness Campaign in St. Petersburg, Florida
It was a fantastic morning on Sunday, Sept 17th, with the distribution of 3000 The Way to Happiness booklets in St. Petersburg, Florida. Denise Sieger organized the distribution with Debbie and Dan Stingley. And with the help of 19 local teens 3000 The Way to Happiness booklets were distributed to approximately 1500 households in St. Petersburg, Florida.
While the teenagers were distributing books, Debbie gave a The Way to Happiness book to Pastor Reeves at the Bible Way Church of Christ in God. She also gave Sister Sue, Sister St. Rose and another parishioner their own copy of a The Way to Happiness book. Debbie told Pastor Reeves about the distribution that we were doing around the neighborhood and his church and also about the The Way to Happiness workshops that we do, including those to kids in the Juvenile Detention Center.
The St. Petersburg Islamic Center
Debbie and Dan also went to the St. Petersburg Islamic Center that was located in the middle of the distribution area. Debbie had previously met both Imam Sadiki, who is the religious leader for the Center, and his wife, Bahiyyah Sadiki, at the Youth Summit and Awards Dinner held in Clearwater, Florida on September 2nd. Bahiyyah requested that Debbie bring 12 The Way to Happiness books and also 12 The Way to Happiness Activity books to their Center that day.
